I miss everything about you. I miss the canals in Venice, the towers in Florence, the gardens in Tivoli, the night life of Rome, the ruins in Pompeii, the romance of Verona, and the scenic, rolling hills connecting everything in between. I miss the carbs, the amazing gelato, the loud men and the cars that don’t stop as you cross the street. I even miss sitting in traffic for three hours while angry Italians scream at everybody who passes by. Anyways I am writing to you because I believe I forgot something with you that is rather important and I am currently in the midst of an issue. You see, somewhere between touching down in Milan and taking off from Rome ten days later, I left my heart among your midst and I fear that I can’t go on without it. I really do need it back as my life is not the same without it. It would seem that the only way to fix this problem is for me to return to you and retrieve it, however I hope that upon my arrival we won’t experience any tension due to the fact that I left. Believe me when I say that when I do make the trip to you again, I will not leave.
All my love
I’ve always loved this palace in Venice but I can’t remember its name..
